Back to the original argument. Would you rather have someone who is uber hostile to private gun ownership or someone who can be reasoned with?

I guess no snappy comeback to my question about the states that don't have sales tax.
And if you (Spooge) do your tax return, you'll find out that you don't pay any Federal Income Tax. Zip, Zero, Nada.

Why should I have to choose between either? Why can't they both be gun loving. Isn't that bad in it's self?

Interesting seeing as I had to pay two sums. One to the Feds and one to the state.

I would love to see them get rid of the rest of the taxes though.
So how about a flat excise tax for the Military?

If we can't afford them and they are broken than what more are they than a tax? Believe me I'm don't want Obama in office, but I'm also not psyched about Romney.

Do it like Alaska. Alaska with no State sales tax allows local government to impose there own sales taxes. With a balanced budget amendment to the constitution I don't see why this coupled with a flat Military excise tax wouldn't work on a national scale and be beneficial to all parties.

If you expect services in your community you should expect taxes. If you want to live without them find an area like I mentioned up in VT or some place out in the middle of nowhere. Just remember, if it snows you'll have to clear your street.

I'm fine with local taxes. It's the federal income I have a problem with and Entitlements. It's paying into Social security, medicare, medicaid, section 8 Housing, and welfare That deserve none of my money. I consider these taxes and wealth redistribution.

Go take your $150 pay check to Alaska and see how far that gets you.

And may I ask... Exactly what have you done to support or contribute to your country?

I don't know what you make per year- but if it's $150 / wk you are not pulling your weight!
First- you'd be getting most of your income taxes refunded to you for being in such a low income bracket....
And second, you're using much more in govt resources than you're paying into-
