What Truck Would be 'Best' to Load a quad in..
My buddy has a 98 Chevy Z71, extended cab. His Scrambler 400 fits perfectly in the bed with the tailgate up, with plenty of room around it for gear, gas, etc. We made a 6-7 hour roadtrip with the Scrambler in the bed, plus towing a trailer with 2 utility and 2 sport quads, with no problems. The 4x4 also comes in REAL handy! Nice truck.

My mom has an 02 Avalanche and I went out and looked and it would most likely fit. Though, I'm not sure how your money situation is but I would go with a Z71 Silverado, my uncle buys a new one every year or less and it can do anything he needs it to, the Avalanche just has a little bit better ride and a bigger price tag. The only problem I've ever seen with the new model Chevrolets is the rear AC is weak or doesn't work at all on one side My $.02.

A Z400 will fit in the bed of a stylestide (straight side) ranger.
Also, remember that you have to load this thing and there will be a lot of weight on the tailgate. I'm not sure how much it can handle.
