Default What Truck Would be 'Best' to Load a quad in..

My buddy has a 98 Chevy Z71, extended cab. His Scrambler 400 fits perfectly in the bed with the tailgate up, with plenty of room around it for gear, gas, etc. We made a 6-7 hour roadtrip with the Scrambler in the bed, plus towing a trailer with 2 utility and 2 sport quads, with no problems. The 4x4 also comes in REAL handy! Nice truck.

My mom has an 02 Avalanche and I went out and looked and it would most likely fit. Though, I'm not sure how your money situation is but I would go with a Z71 Silverado, my uncle buys a new one every year or less and it can do anything he needs it to, the Avalanche just has a little bit better ride and a bigger price tag. The only problem I've ever seen with the new model Chevrolets is the rear AC is weak or doesn't work at all on one side My $.02.

How about a low rider truck with a flat bed? That way ya wouldn't have to lift it up very far.... LOL...

A guy around here puts his raptor in an '03 chevy panel van. It is actually pretty sweet. He has some nice chrome rims, BFG AT tires, 2.5" duel exhaust with Flowmasters, and its black with a big Yamaha Racing sticker. Not a bad idea

Just measure the overall width and overall length of the ATV.
A Z400 will fit in the bed of a stylestide (straight side) ranger.

Also, remember that you have to load this thing and there will be a lot of weight on the tailgate. I'm not sure how much it can handle.
