Wait a sec, lemme get this straight. You just joined a forum to post meaningless garbage in a thread with the hopes of striking up an arguement. Wow. *applause* Don't you realize this conversation ended almost a month ago? You are a troll. Go back to NLOC where you belong.

man i thought the last thread about which truck was beter for pulling atv's might have ended this FORD vs chevy vs dodge argument. actually like i said in that thread, this argument has been going on every since the big three made their first car and it will go on until the government makes them all switch to bean power! (notice i put FORD in big letters Doge is starting to make a come back finally with the hemi and the v-10 truck coming out, chevy, well it may **** some people off but the need to get on the wagon although the parts are way cheaper for them which means you can get more bang for the buck when you start adding on mods. ford is also doing pretty good and will be coming out with the new lightning that will match the dodge v-10 hp but you all know someone else will step up with something better until like i said the government steps in and says enough. it's called compitition! i have owned a lightning, a 440 six pack GTX, a 340 duster, a 454 nova plus a few other factory rods in the last24 years and i loved each! how give a crap if dodge makes the fastes or if ford has the fastest. buy what you like and if you want to prove someone theirs is slower take it to the track! if you want a truck to pull something with get a 6.0 superduty! that should ruffle some feathers i guess.

Just noticed this thread but gimme a break, no way a Viper or a Vette is gonna walk past a Cobra. Top end sure, but drag race..... you've obviously never seen a real Cobra run. No stock Viper or Vette has a chance. ..... OOPS... I guess I should read more thoroughly, 03 stang cobra... not the old Shelby..... I'd run an original Cobra against ALL takers.... You know how Ford guys get when dodge boys start talkin smack.....

Those are plain insane! I once saw a video of a Grand National (6 cyl for those who don't know) with Twin Turbos protruding from the hood get 1000 RWHP on a dyno. When he really got on it, the tires were smoking on the dyno. I've seen 850HP Supras and Skylines on dyno runs that didn't smoke the tires. It was just SICK seeing this thing have no traction even on a dyno and still have it read 1000 HP. Imagine if he had traction. I'd say it would be around 1400 to 1500 HP.

The GN in that video had a 350 in it - not the original 231.... A 500hp cycle can smoke the tires on a dyno even straped down....

tyhe dodge trucks i priced were not under $20,000 they were closer to $30000. you can get into a lightning for $6000 more and with a few upgrades it will out do the dodge at the track either drag racing or on a road course. yeah the new v-10 coming out does have 500hp but the new lightning coming out has 510Hp! sounds like dodge fell short? i like the cummins but still rather have the powerstroke which has more hp and torque. as far as a hemi goes everyone should take a closer look at the heads on the dodge. when they say hemi everyone thinks of the old hemis but these are nothing like the original hemis or the ones that run in top fuel class. the ford are as much of a hemi as the dodge. dodge does have a prtty good looking truck but chrysler products, which includes dodge has no resale. my wifes 300m which cost a little over 30k two years ago has a tradin of $14500 now and only has 46790 miles on it?
