I have a ton of video on different tapes varying from VHS, VHS C and HI-8...the problem comes in getting this stuff into the computer...square plug will not fit round hole...everything seems to be a mess...the mojority of my film is on HI-8... my friend who is trying to put this video together can't get a connection/plug-in/program or whatever to allow her camera to download my tapes into the computer...why won't one HI-8 camera read film taken on another Hi-8 are they not the same format?

She is using a Mac(thier customer service sucks as bad as Yamaha's)and they want money to tell her which one of thier programs she has to buy...help us out

 

get a dazzle, im not sure if it works on Mac though.

ive got a Mini DV video cam that has video input (i think) it has DV input for sure and firewire cable. you are welcome to borrow it if it can help ya, but then I get to watch the videos (they are riding vids, right [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img])
