Got a cool game for my Xbox yesterday. It is Cabela's "Dangerous Hunts" It is a pretty fun game. I tried it last night in "Quick Hunt" mode. Went hunting for Brown bear in Alaska. Shot one weighing about 800 lbs. Just walking through the woods and it came running over the hill right at me and I dropped it with a .358 lever action. Surprised the hell out of me though!! So far a very fun game with beautiful graphics. You can choose from 8 different rifles, 3 shotguns, 3 bows, 3 pistols, 3 knives. 26 types of game to hunt. Hunting Locations: Alaska, Alberta, British Columbia, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Northwest Territories, Northern California, Quebec, Tanzania, Wisconsin, Zimbabwe.

If you dare!! You can use the 5", 7", or 12" blade. You can carry a rifle or shotgun, and a pistol as backup. They don't let you carry 2 guns and 1 knife. Or you can carry 1 gun and 1 knife. When hunting the bear, better off carrying a high caliber rifle, and the .44 or .454 caliber pistol. Or the rifle, and the 12" blade knife to stand a chance against the Browns, and Grizzlies.

I believe it, as I would have been attacked also if I hadn't got of the shot immediately with the 358 caliber rifle and dropped the brown I was hunting. After that hunt I went on the next hunt to Tanzania to hunt Hyena. I was attacked by one of the Hyena that got in at least 4 hits on me before I dispatched it with the .44 caliber pistol. Lucky I wasn't killed!
