ATV_MAN it just so happened I had a $15 bycycle speedometer on my 200SX.Top speed was 46 mph.Hers how I did it:I placed the magnet on the sprocket facing the drum.I cut part of the sensor bracketry off and found a big clamp.I put the sensor on the top of the rear axle between the sprocket and drum with the clamp around it holding it down(where the shock connects)Then I routed the wiring on the left side above the front sprocket behind the plastic.I mounted the little computer at the top of the seat (on the top of the gas tank cover) with the computer all the way at the left bottom cover and drilled it into the plastic. Then I took the wire from the sensor above the on/off/reserve switch to the computer.Notice I had to drill another hole in the plastc to get it near the computer. This was as far as mine would go.It turned out pretty good!

Well it's late friday night and I didn't get the spedometer hooked up yet. I thought of doing something like you 86Honda, but I need to add wire to mine because it's not long enough to reach the back end...first I thought of putting the sensor on the front left tire rim but their is no place to put it there, do you have any suggestions on how to mount the sensor on the rim??????

Before I did that I tried it up front.I finaly gave up and went to the back.Once I did get it working up front and tall weeds tore it up.I can't even remember how I did it now.

Well I can't place the magnet further away than like 5mm says the manual.

To make it read further away which I need it to do, I'll have to get a stronger magnet for it to read further away than 5mm.

I think i'll place it on the sproket like you did 86HONDA.
