tsk tsk tsk. so unintelligent... so unhumble. i didn't even say anything remotely offensive. so you guys don't value what people from other countries think about America. that's really intelligent. you know, i love to hear what people from India think of western events, or what people from England think about American events... Gives you a perspective that you're missing... Perhaps through a less blurred looking glass.

I can see some of you really really smart guys aren't into that. Judging by the responses, I'm sure you all attended political studies classes in university as well.

How much more damage can we let him do? Certainly, not all of the problems are his fault. But to dismiss what is really going on, the lies, the deceit, record unemployment, record deficits...etc..etc..etc....
Bullsh(cough)it. Record unemployment my a##. The unemployment rate is the figure that is always looked at not jobs, so now with unemployment at a lower figure than when Clinton left office, they have to look at the jobs. That's being disengenuous.

Dubya is spending way too much on social programs, way too much, yet his first priority is you and I. And I guess none of you guys has ever had a unexpected expense (re. budget deficit) only ours is on a much larger scale. America was attacked by an enemy, we went after that enemy in Afghanistan, finally quit scolding Saddam for the umpteenth time and told him what we were fixing to do if he didn't comply. He didn't comply so we kept our word, something the UN has not done. How many last chances were they willing to give him?

If you want to chuck sh*t at someones policies, records, or opinions, back it up with solid evidence that they don't work.
Maybe you should take some of your own advice.

He was absolutely right to go in and take Hussein out, but told the world to f**k off and did it pretty much alone
Actually we had more countries that signed on than in the previous Gulf War. Check it out. Only France, Germany, and Russia didn't want to and because 2 of those countries had veto power they could outrule the rest of the 15 countries in the UN. As we learn more and more the longer we're in Iraq, France particularly had a lot of dealings with Saddam they didn't want anyone to know about. Add to the fact the Food for Oil scandal and the UN doesn't look to credible anymore, does it?

Kerry's a big joke and even the dems know that one. They're waiting for mrs. bi ich billery to save the day. Don't we all need to go through that

Anyone, even the loser kerry, gets props for his service to this country but why don't you discuss the times when he was hold Jane Fonda's hand protesting the war too. Ya buddy, he's presidential material all right.

First of all, congratulations on working dis·in·gen·u·ous(sp) into a sentence.

Secondly..from the bureau of Labor Statistics:

1980 7.1
1981 7.6
1982 9.7
1983 9.6
1984 7.5
1985 7.2
1986 7.0
1987 6.2
1988 5.5
1989 5.3
1990 5.6
1991 6.8
1992 7.5
1993 6.9
1994 6.1
1995 5.6
1996 5.4
1997 4.9
1998 4.5
1999 4.2
2000 4.0
2001 4.7
2002 5.8
2003 6.0
current rate is 5.6

Where do you get your info? What years did Clinton serve? I don't think Clinton had too much to do with the numbers, certainly the internet boom had alot to do with it. But, if you are going to spin the numbers, at least be correct. As you can see, the rate went down every year Clinton was in office. Say what you will, but the numbers are there to show that. Call him smart, call him lucky, whatever. Don't use numbers like that unless they help you prove your case.....

The economy produced 21,000 jobs last month..all in the government. So much for the smaller government the gop is always talking about....lol. So, NOT 200,000 like bush promised. Not that it's necessarily his fault, but keep your mouth shut if you can't produce.

you wrote:

What planet are you on? He's been whacking those programs since he got in office.

Saddam needed to go, no doubt about it. It could have been handled much better. His cowboy attitude about the whole thing was sickening. Hey Saddam, you got 24 hours to get out of town. That grandstanding was so unnecessary. If he wanted to do something, it could have been on the sly. I'd rather he explained to the American people that he lied about us having Saddam assassinated, than to lie about there being wmd's. Please don't even bring up that everyone agreed that there were wmd's. None of them invaded a country thinking that. bush did.

Yes, we went after Bin Laden. After not acheiving the final objective, we decided to fight another war. One we really could not afford. After a couple hundred billion dollars sent to Iraq, we could at least get some cheap oil out of it, is that too much to ask? Here's another question. Why did bush declare the war over? Better yet, how do you explain that the 500+ American casualties occured AFTER he made his big speech about the war ending.

Your blind following of this guy is disturbing. Back him if you like, vote for him if you like. But it would be nice if you repubs actually admit that things are messed up. george bush is on the watch, someone has to take the blame....in my opinion...it's gotta be him. You don't fire the team, you fire the coach.

Kerry is the scariest person I have ever seen run for office, any office. He flip-flops more than a live fish in a hot skillet. And the reason you never she his wife by his side?, she doesn't know which side to stand on!!

President Bush makes me proud to be an American. He does what he says he is going to do and doesn't make a threat he is not going to keep.

I got the following in my e-mail;

It used to tick me off when the Muslim detractors in the Middle East, or the socialist
detractors in Europe, Hollywood and others called our President a cowboy,
but the more I think about it, the more glad I am that he is.

When I was a kid, cowboys were my heroes.
Well, I mean the ones in the white hats, not the black hats,
who were usually the bad guys.
There was Tex Ritter, Tom Mix, Buck Jones,
Hopalong Cassidy, the Lone Ranger.....
there was Red Ryder, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers......
then later, there was Marshall Matt Dillon,
Hoss & Li'l Joe Cartwright,
Paladin, Maverick and others....
Rawhide's Rowdy Yates

What were common attributes of these legendary cowboys?
Here are a few:

1. They were never looking for trouble.
2. But when trouble came, they faced it with courage.
3. They were always on the side of right.
4. They defended good people against bad people.
5. They had high morals.
6. They had good manners.
7. They were honest.
8. They spoke their minds and they spoke the truth,
regardless of what people thought or "political correctness,"
which no one had ever heard of back then.
9. They were a beacon of integrity in the wild, wild West.
10. They were respected. When they walked into a saloon
(where they usually drank only sarsaparilla),
the place became quiet, and the bad guys kept their distance.
11. If in a gunfight, they could outdraw anyone. If in a fist fight, they could beat up anyone.
12. They always won. They always got their man. In victory, they rode off into the sunset.

Those were the days when there was such a thing as right and wrong,
something blurred in our modern world, and denied by many.

Now, as I am older, I still like cowboys..
They represent something good --
something pure that America has been missing.
Ronald Reagan was a cowboy.
I like Ronald Reagan, who was brave, positive, and who gave us hope.
He wore a white hat. To the consternation of his liberal critics, he had the
courage to call a spade a spade and call the former Soviet Union what it was
-- the evil empire. Liberals hated Ronald Reagan.

They also hate President Bush because he distinguishes between good and evil.
He calls a spade a spade, and after 9-11 called evil "evil," without mincing any words,
to the shock of the liberal establishment. That's what cowboys do, you know.

He also told the French to "put their cards on the table" (old West talk),
which they did, exposing their cowardice and greed.
The radical Muslims are wrong.*
In the old West, might did not make right.
Right made might.
Cowboys in white hats were always on the side of right, and that was their might.
I am glad my President is a cowboy.
He got his man! (Saddam)
Cowboys do, you know.

Sorry for the long post.
