Just a couple of "turds" that will grow up??? thinking the world owes them a favor. There are two places we will most likely find them in the future....Prison or the morgue!
Come on guys, ride safe and don't give the rest of us a bad rap. Oh , and give me your address and I will send you a nickel for your part of my wages.

Well I give the NYPD the permission as a concerned citizen to do whatever they please with you. I think suitabley take you down to the Big Howy Farm (prison) and let the boyz have fun with ya for a day Whats so hard about playin by the rules man? If your not liscensed to drive a car is it legal to drive it? NO if your quad is not street legal is it legal to drive on the roads? NO WTF is so hard about that to understand. Drugs are bad.. mmmm K

Now I know what we are dealing with here , or at least have it narrowed down.
4wheelerfred (going by spelling , sentence structure and riding an XR80 ), is either in the second grade , has been in prison before , or what the heck maybe both.
4wheelerfred, as a fellow ATV enthusiast , I hope your maturity catches you before the Grim Reaper does.

Yup. All you that run from the cops: Thank you for getting more and more strict laws, and area closures. Do us all a favor and sell your quad before you get the whole sport outlawed.

I ride in 'legal riding areas' and I understand that it's not right to run from the cops, but if I was in that situation and I thought about the cops taking my quad, only one thing goes through my mind F*** THAT. Why? because I love my quad and I love the sport. I cant stand the thought of some cop in who hates quads taking my stuff away. I know theres a chance theyll be cool and just tell me I was doing something wrong but theres also the chance that the cop wont be nice about it at all. Id rather buy something for my quad than pay BS tickets.
And for whoever said that cops had let him off for doing all kinds of things, if you havent noticed law inforcement has changed. Like how back in the day if you got caught driving drunk they would escort you home to make sure you got there safely, instead of giving you a fine and/or suspending your lisence and trying to put you in jail.
I understand that when a cop does write you tickets and gives you a hard time hes doing what hes supposed. But the tickets and hassle are something I can do without so for now Im gonna either not ride where cops will hassle me or haul *** the other way when I see one.

CT- You are right when you say that times have changed. Like I said in another post society is sue happy. Everybody is getting sued not because of what they are doing, but what they are not doing. If you were a cop and stopped a guy that had been drinking and decided to let him drive home because he was not that drunk , here is what would probably happen....
He takes off and goes a couple of miles down the road, runs a stop sign, broadsides a Ford Taurus with Mom,Dad, Brother and Sister riding in it. Brother and Dad both get killed in the accident. Mom and Sister suffer a tremendous loss but have to go on with their lives. They sue the driver of the vehicle and his insurance company. They also sue the officer himself and the department he works for. Mom and Sister do not ever have to worry about money again, and that is the way it should be. All because an officer did not do his job.
Thanks for the input.

<<<so if you get your quad impounded, how do you get it back? >>>
Depend on your state and where you got caught. As with most things cops usually have a lot of leeway as to how hard you get hit. In NJ an impound can cost you upwards of $1000...........If you get busted by DEP guys in NJ you are screwed, even if you are a cop..
I have to say, every time I've been stopped the cops were cool. In this state I think most of them figure you and your kids are harmless caompared to the other crime we have.
