I think a lot of people forgot to check the date of the posts. But most of the time, 2 stroke gas won't hurt a 4 stroke engine. Its not recommended but in reality, there isn't that much oil in the 2 stroke gas anyway. I mix mine 40-1 for my Poulan chain saw. I've never put in any 4 stroke atv but I have put it in my old Snapper lawnmower. It made it smoke a bit more but didn't hurt it. If I did it now, I wouldn't even notice. The old Snapper uses so much oil and smokes so much now anyway. Keeps fouling spark plugs, I get about 3 uses out of a plug before I just throw it away and put another $3 plug in. I guess I should just buy a new mower lol.

 

Old enough to buy their own ATVs and know what to put in the tank.

 

gas issues have nothing to do with shifting, he messed up the transmission
