Using advice from my friend LEP7MM I will not use the quote button but none of us have defended this child and I have stated many times that the kid should have been punished. We are debating the chase policy and if it cold be re-vamped to make it safer for everybody but still bring justice which could prevent such sad tragedies like this one.

If your cops "hit" an ATV to stop it, then the use of force then becomes use of deadly force because the cop intentionally uses force that could result in the death of the pursuant. Much different case and logic and look for laws to be change in your state soon with the "hit" when the Supreme Court is through making their decision on a few case in front of them.

BTW: Do you have kids? If so what would be your response if that were your kid, and don’t give me the, “My child would never…” story for they are kids and will do childish things.

Ok I cut down the quote as much as I could. Yes I have enjoyed the exchange on this topic,(except that part in the beginning where I quickly read a quote and proved my stupidity) and and it has been fun. I appreciate BB's passion as a new parent. I was there once, I have just learned that you cant legislate or pass law's to keep kid's safe all the time. I bailed out of the one point that BB and I could not agree on because even if "we" can "prove" who was at fault here, (I personally dont think we have enough fact's) We cant bring back the 15 year old. He is still dead and some parent's lives will never be the same. And that is something I will never understand, how you ever can function again in life after losing a child. I held my dad's hand as he took his last breath in late january and I have not been the same since. Cant imagine losing one of my boy's.

 

Nope it is a character flaw, And I am not a poor, deprived, child, I am a upper middle class,(have you seen my list of toy's) 44 year old. LOL

Thank's Bing, I have spent way too much time on that site already. That is what led me to finding/needing a used rupp. That and all the mini bike guide mag's I have bought on ebay. Takes me back to simpler times.
