thats what i was thinking. because i saw a go cart that had a yfz motor in it.

 

i have a stock simplisity that can pull the front wheeles 6 inches off the ground when i pop the clutch

 

well i have a mower in my back yard that does about 40

we took the deck off
put a 2 inch pully on the back
a 5inch (i think) on the front
custom exaust
new starter
gas pedal and
we are redoing the gear ration somtime this week and some other stuff

so hopfully we can get another 10-15mph out of it

ive gt a 7 horse briggs and straton rider that i had to put a wheelie bar on. throw it in 3rd and let it go. everyone laughs at our 4th of july block party when we have lawn mower races. im not a true mechanic but i kinda understand how things work, though i just dont know what they are called. On the back of this particular engine has a little **** thing that opens when you turn the throttle up,well i reach back there with my hand and pull it harder and it really takes off. actually now its hooked to a seprate cable and i do it with a flip of a lever. think it hit 12mph on the gps. have to watch the exhaust too, it gets red hot!

first off you cant mow the lawn if you do what I tell you.Put lil pully on tranny.and big on engine.take govener off. bore it out lower it.take the deck off put alumenem fly wheel.

 

Taking the governor off makes it faster.
