Default draining old gas.....

i have a 98 yamaha 700 jet ski..... and as far as i know the only way to get the old gas out is to siphon it out... i don't really want to take the tank out i think this will be the easiest way...... the gas tank holds 12 gallons and it has about 10 in it now..... i wanna get it running again.... sooo i'll start by putting new gas in it...... its a two stroke. but it doesn't take an oil/gas mix........ from what i remember i think it is oil injection??? does that sound right??? i'll have to double check the manual when i go up north to get it ready...

thanks alot...

I would assume that its injected and the only other way to get the gas out would be to turn it upside down. I like to use fuel stabilizer in toys that will be put away for a while. I have started bikes that had been stored over a year in a couple kicks.

we do have fuel stabilizer but i did not put any in..... its been sitting on the trailer in the garage for about 6 years with some old gas...... so i figure i'll drain it and take her over to the gas station and fill er up and then hopefully use it all on the water........

thanks

The carbs may need to be removed and cleaned after sitting that long.
