goldfish pond!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know that this is off topic, but has anyone ever put a goldfish pond in before. You know the kind that you get from lowes, walmart etc. It is the flexible soft plastic type, i have dug and filled this bastard up for two days and it keeps f#@%$%g up. I am about to throw the shovel through my front window. The directions say to fill it up and fill around it with sand, but it keeps bunching up and i am going insane. Someone help or i may make the national news for going insane..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks JOHN

You need to do a better job at backfilling between your hole and the sides of the plastic. Sand on the bottom and any flat areas, drop in the plastic pond insert and then slowly start filling with water. Stop filling frequently and fill in some dirt along the sides anywhere that it looks like it is starting to buckle.

Ditch the plastic pre-formed thing and go with a EPDM liner. Very easy to do. Dig the hole, put down some old carpet or carpet padding if you have some, if not, just make sure there are no rocks, put the liner in, and start filling it with water. First thing I did when I moved into my new house was put in a 3000 gallon pond with a 4 foot waterfall.
