My wife and daughter ride and finished 1 and 2 at the adelanto grand prix with mom beating the daughter at the finish line.mom is 40 and daughter 21.My grandsons legal name is R.J. short for Ricky Johnson the famous supercross and motorcross champion.I am a very lucky man.

I'm all for starting out small, but the bigger quads had some features the smaller ones didn't... I liked the idea of the independent suspension for comfort, automatic for convenience, engine braking for safety, integrated braking for simplicity, and size for security. My wife and I are learning together and we are safe. She is what I would consider petite (25, 5'2" and ~120lbs... I am guessing since she would never tell me ), but she wouldn't settle for a small ATV... and why buy her something she will outgrow quickly. Of course, we are talking about my wife here... the woman that drives a 2000 GMC Sierra SLT 3/4 ton extended cab with a big 6.0l!!! Plus, I wanted her to be able to go everywhere I knew I would be able to on my Sportsman . That, and I didn't have a choice... she told me I could get one with one condition... that I get two . Anyway, it has been a ton of fun so far and I am looking forward to all the miles we are going to put on these bad boys (or girls ). I do agree with the comment that we need to encourage the ladies to ride to prevent the ignorance causing fear that results in wives, mothers, and girlfriends not wanting us to ride.

 

I have a z400 and ive been riding for a couple years and i ve noticed that there aren't many girls that ride (at least i can't find them) and i wish there was. There are many girls that claim they ride and have all the stickers to be cool. So i have to ride with a group of guys that think they are hot stuff and i couldnt keep up but i proved them wrong. If there are any girls in the southern cali area that are ready to tear it up let me know.
