Ok yes he lugs it allot in and out of the grudge and then he goes right on the road and then ya no what he dose next but I will drive his brothers yz 250 so I can keep up and most of the time we will have to double up and lay his dirt bike down because he stops and it bogs and fowls a plug and it is 8 dollars for one spark plug so he needs to find out soon.

Get a rag and some sand paper after the plug and they usually work as good as new. And tell him to wind it up every once in a while.

the YZ 85 needs to be rapped out most of the time. It sounds to me like he's not used to operating a 2 stroke machine. Tell him to open up the throttle and slip the clutch when he slows down. If he is dropping RPM when slowing and turning and not using the clutch to keep the engine revved out, he'll blow through plugs. Make sure you're not sucking water when you go through the puddles too. Water getting into the filter and bogging down can cause your engine to lug when you don't want it to among other problems, thus causing your plugs to get all fouled up.
