Pull behind mowers
#2
Greetings,
You might want to try a search on the topic. We have had a number of good discussions of this in the past year. Most reports were very positive.
I went with an unusual option and bought a flail mower -- a single axel machine that flings short chain-mounted blades around a horizontal shaft. It has some real advantages but, like anything else, there are some tradeoffs. I've recounted the tale of the flail in here a couple of times but its pretty much a moot point since I don't think anyone makes them anymore. I know of one still at a dealer, so if you're interested in checking it out, let me know. Otherwise, there are a number of good brush hog style mowers out there -- and most people are happy with them.
