ATV Covers
Since I don't have the luxurie of being able to store my atv in a garage year round, I use a cover for protection.
I have tryed several different covers and have yet to find one that will last more than 6 months. I do have one of the heavier 600 denier covers with the coating on the underside, but alot of the coating has begun to come off and in the winter time it is way too stiff to get on and off.
Recently I have been using the basic nylon covers which after about 5 or 6 months finally become rooten from the uv rays and fall apart. I have come to the conclusion to just buy the cheapest nylon cover and expect to go through 2 or 3 a year.
Has anybody found a good, long lasting cover that is uv resistant, weather proof, plyable in the winter and that will aleast last a couple years??
Maybe a good business idea!
Why can't someone make an atv cover similar or equal to the ones made for snowmobiles.
The cover on my snowmobile has lasted 6 years and shows no signs (except for some fading) of needing replaced. It is weather proof and very plyable in extreme cold temps.
Am I asking too much.

I finally just gave up on paying 30-60 bucks for covers that lasted a few months and just bought heavy duty tarps to keep over mine. They didn't last any longer, but at leas they were a lot cheaper.
Have a cover for my motorcycle and it made it two years before the elastic finally gave out. The sun faded the color on it, and it did get a little more fragile after the first year, but at least it has lasted this long. Wonder what the material difference is, and why can't the atv covers be made out of the same stuff?
