I'll listen to almost anything, but I guess for me to get in the best mood it would have to be White Zombie/Rob Zombie. Their songs rock that's for sure! NO COUNTRY! Country songs always make me cry.

 

I like the "beerrun" song by George Jones and Garth Brooks, cuz usually we make 1 or 2 a day while wheeling (go cry and whine about it to someone who cares), but other than that I really like "Blackheart" off of Slipknot's IOWA album....

I like listening to music while riding -- not while rock climbing or brush busting, but while rolling down a trial or road. I have these really tiny earphones that I can wear under my helmet, plus I have sound-deadening earphones that connect into a Walkman (great for entertainment while mowing). I like everything from classical to bluegrass to heavy metal, but my favorite riding music is post country and space cowboy stuff -- Byrds, New Riders, Lucinda Williams, Wilco, Neil Young, and even selected items from Dylan or the Grateful Dead. OK, so it sounds old to most of you, but it seems to fit well with the scenery rolling by.
