I am rather confused,yes,yes,normal for me,but,,got my plate and never applied,I did have a current sticker good for another year or so,but I was under the presumption that we needed insurance to get the plate.Is this one of those "need it when ya get pulled over" things? Typical for PA. I had to send back some paperwork with vin's and registarion numbers a while back and I haven't heard anything. I thought that this went into effect October 30. Am I illegal until the state finally gets around to sending me plates? How big are they and where do you have to mount them or didn't they send any info with it?

 

As far as being legal, I would think that if your sticker is still good then you have paid and deserve to ride! The plate is approx 4"x8" and the directions says: Place your plate on the back of your atv keeping it near the center and as high as possible. Wonder if I screw it on to the bottom of my seat is good enuff,it dont say it has to be visible <EG>. another thing it says:atv's may be usedONLY on roads and trails posted specifically for atv use.The addition of the plate does NOT allow the atv to be operated on public roads. Now ya think about this, we are going to pay 25$ for 2 years i think it is for a plate. Now on a car the plate costs approx 50$ per year and you can drive countless thousands of miles for that 50$.BUT the way I see it is we pay 12.50 a year and are heavily restricted from roads,, NOT FAIR!!!!! I mean I really dont want to road ride but we do have to hit alot of roads to hit alot of trails!BEND OVER PA PPL,,I NEED TO ATTATCH THIS PLATE SOMEWHERE J/K` I am gonna get sooo teased at the races with this plate on I'm thinkin [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
