I broke my collar bone in two spots within the first 10 minutes of riding. It didn't help that it was three in the morning and I was hammered!!!

 

Guard's story is almost same as mine ..cept It was daytime ...

My best time had something to do w/a fellow female rider ..nuf said

 

In 1984 mom bought me a brand new atc250r.I unloaded it out of the truck,filled the tank with premix,started it and warmed it up a minute.Got to 3rd gear and it seized! Right in the driveway!

 

Hey DS650dave, Happy to see that I'm not the only one. This happened on April 1 of last year and I was out for 3 months. Best riding time. I learned how to ride with one hand and still drink a beer!!! (just kidding) I will never do that stupid stunt again

 

Trust me there are plenty out there (broken collar bones from riding) ..mine was last july ..@ T.C.T.R.I ever ride there ??...
Yeah was a bad day for sure !I was out that long also ..
Worst part was my crazy ars decided to ride about 5 miles back to camp beforing telling anyone & I knew it was badly broken TALK ABOUT PAIN!..could have been life threatening ....I try not to think about,now.

Hey, GuardDog Dave and I are good friends. I sometimes ride in Northern Potter county I pass right through Williamsport. We can all get together and ride. Matter of fact I was just up that way last weekend!
