I've crashed a few times roadracing sportbikes, once I actually cracked a $300 Shoei helmet...This boy always wears a lid!

 

About this time last year, all kinds of people it seemed were dying on ATV's. In a town about 20 minutes from here a young man about 16 was killed, then the day after his funeral, some of his friends went riding I guess to kind of like pay their respects or something and 2 wrecked and one ended up dying. Then in another town about an hour away another kid the same age was killed. Then about June, there were 2 more wrecks all which ended people in critical condition and one dead.

Then about 2 weeks ago, another kid dead about a half hour away.
I think that people around here are really careless, even the people I ride with do stupid stuff sometimes. My best friend was climbing a HUGE hill this past weekend and got to the top on his 300EX and gave it a little much juice and rode it back down. Flipped 4 times on the way to the bottom (biggest flips I have seen). Anyway he's a little beat up, but somehow his quad got away with a bent axle, broken headlight, and cracked plastic. Thats it. Guess that Honda for ya.

 

After numorous wrecks on my lil' 300EX I have a few more abilities. my knees/ankles always pop when i walk. my should hurts/pops every now and then(can you say end of a log+shoulder+blind curve+30mph). and after one particular wreck i can hold my hand and move my wrist around???havn't figured that one out yet.oh yeah, i also figured out i was double jointed in my right shoulder!ha...my friend also rides a 300EX (i have moved on to Big Red 400EX) and he has just as much bad luck.funny, we have the same name too...(brian)

I know this post was stared about a month ago but after my mother's accident on saturday, which you can read and respond to if you go to the suzuki atv area and read "listen up-I need your help and prayers" I am now trying to promote more saftey in our sport to avoid future accidents and more laws that will restrict or ban our beloved sport. Please read my post and most of all please promote safety, and refuse to ride until everyone has their gear one. Y2K300EX- I want to go and ride out at 6 mile creek? Is it located anywhere near Clark Road in Harborcreek, I have ridden around their and I thought these trails might be intertwined or something? Thanks.

 

I am 14 and rolled my warrior. I wasn't useing my head and hydroplaned across a puddle hit a burm. Good thing i had a helmet they do a wonder.

 

yesterday my friend jimmy totaled his timberwolf. his front tire went flat and he went off the road. he slammed into a phone pole. he flew into a creek and got up. his back was all scratched up and he had a huge gash in his leg but he was wearing a helmet. i saw it today. his quad was a mess. it took a 4x4 blazer and a come along to get it out. the front is all messed up. it looks like it was hit by a mack truck. but he is fine because he was wearing a helmet. stupid thing is he was riding on the road.
