yeah, that bed back there is just to make the truck more aerodynamic.

 

Don't kid yourself fordy....that Lightning can tow...go to a Fun Ford Day and look whats towing some of those cars in.....generation 1 and generation 2 Lightnings....I know mine (93 G1) can tow 5000lbs.

 

I just want any truck to load my atv up in as long as it looks half way decent and has four wheel drive, I don't care what manufacturer.

 

The Cobra R is a nice machine with a 0-60 time of 4.1secs or sumthing like that, No AC and only a limited production of them. Come on now NO AC?!? I dont think Chevrolet is going let the Mustang take care of the Corvette now since the Camaro is gone, COME ON MUSTANG WHATCHA GOT!!!

 

The Lightning will tow just fine. The friend of mine that owned the 2001 towed his 3800 pound Buick racecar behind it just fine and it also towed his Supercharged 347 cid Mustang. A person wanting a gas burner 4X4 would be better off to drive all 3 and pick the one they liked driving the best. I liked all 3 of the Diesels from the big 3 so I drove all 3 and picked the one that we liked driving the most. Even though I liked the interior room on the Ford 4 door better. And I wasn't a big fan of IFS on a work truck.

 

I dunno about deisels but Dodge fuel mileage flat out sucks on gas. 12-14 mpg in a v6 2 wheel drive dakota?? wtf dodge you gotta be kidding me!! My brothers RT cant keep a second gear either, been in twice now with only 50,000 miles. My friends RAM seems like a joke and has all kinds of suspension trouble.

I always thought chevy WAY overrated aswell, as if there interiors were designed by a child until recently. I just recently read a press release from GM apologizing about the quality of there vehicles for the last 20 years....

I was a ford man and should never have strayed to the cheaper dodge

 

I can't wait to see the new '04 F150....hopefully Ford has done a bang up job with the new truck. I really would like to see more room in the extended cab, like the Dodge. As far as the Dodge goes..it is ashame their trannys SUCK, go to a dealer and thats what most Dodges are getting fixed! They're still sharp looking though, like I said I hope the new F150 betters the competition!
