87 Lt250r, what jetting should I start with
I've amost completed my winter project 87 Lt250r, I live in Johnstown Pa and race in competitive hillclimbs. My bike has been modified in the following ways and I need a starting point for my jetting(ie main jet and pilot size and airscrew setting)
Rebuilt bottom end (all bearings, gaskets, and seals)
Hot rod rod kit
Trued Crank
Resleeved at stock bore
Ported and Polished for top-end (The computer design estimated 56.3 hp at the crank......I don't know about that one)
Paul Turner high rev pipe and silencer
Paul Turner Power Head( 21cc dome)(O-ringed)
Duncan Racing Pyramid Reed cage
39mm PWK carb with a quadzilla intake boot
Custom Aluminum airbox with massive boot from carb to airbox( will be pretty close to running a clamb on filter)
Wiseco piston and rings
KB clutch disks and Barnett heavy duty springs
Modified, bored out fuel petcock using dual lines and dual filters
4" swingarm extensions
Powdercaoted frame, a-arms, brake pedal and hubs
All new wheel and axle bearings
Renthals
New Maier racing plastic
Rebuilt all calipers, master cylinders
All new pads and rotors
Polished swingarm, airbox, and handlebar clamp
86' seat
C-12, or possibly Turbo Blue(100 or more octane)
Any other comments or suggestions will be appreciated
Thank You
