4-stroke's suck!!

Like it or not 2-strokes are on the way out. There will be no reprieve no come back. Yes there are some hard core junkies that will rebuild them forever, but eventually parts will be harder to get and more expensive. You can't stop the forward momentum. The 2 strokers are a dying breed with limited time left to amuse theirselves with rhetoric. lt500r ? I haven't seen one yet in Florida. And no matter how bad the are or rather were, they'll be one of the first ones gone. Just like the T-rex it was bad in its day. It can be seen all over the place in the net. I can't count the guys selling or wanting to trade their 250's for the 450's. The only difference between them and the 2 strokers on this site is that they are smart enough to see the end is coming and that they should get out while they can. Even I hate to see the Banshee go, and I bet it will be around the longet of the soon to be phased out 2-strokes, but it is inevitable. Instead of living in the past and remembering the times that your nostalgic quads were "top of the line" embrace the present as well as the future and make the move to a 4-stroke. The more and the sooner we all demand higher performance the sooner it will be developed and made available, instead of spending your time looking for and ordering the soon to be obsolete 2-stroke parts. 10 years from now the new generation of riders will laugh and poke fun at the old guys that used to ride those loud, smoking relics, and all you will have is distant memories and claims of grandure that prove the humorous saying "the older I get the better I was".

I know I'm a little late to respond to this one but I just came across it and couldn't stop laughing. I'm not going to get into the 2-stroke vs. 4-stroke issue because I already know what 2-strokes can do...I've had them all my life until recently and I love them. I'm actually looking to get another in the near future. But "hicks in the sticks"...LOL...come on now City Slicker. There's a lot of desert in California and a 2-hour ride isn't so unrealistic. Maybe you dunners wouldn't know or care but some of us prefer desert riding...mainly to stay away from all the freakin Barny's at the over-crowded "popular spots." I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
Now if yall will excuse me, I gotsta go hitch up the buckboard and head down to Olsen's merchantile fer some more chaw. Maybe on my way back I'll stop by my sister's shack and bang her. Yee haw!

10 years from now when I'm in my mid 40's and I smoke some punk kid on his 4-stroke, he gonna say "I didnt know those old relics could run like that". Too bad they wont know the true power potential.
