they did make a couple 2-stroke street bikes. Honda made a nsr250 that put down 75hp stock. Thats some ballz for a 250 out of the box [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

There was a street bike with a motor very similar to a banshee. They dont make two stroke street bikes because of emissions and you cant find 2-stroke oil at every gas station. 2-stroke street bikes would be faster than 4-strokes if they were in production. A 1000 cc 2-stroke stock would probley put out about 220hp vs a 160hp 4-stroke. less maitinace and lighter. wait the same difference with dirt dikes. Its just on the street. 4 strokes is 2 strokes too many to make real power for displacement.

 

RZ 350 and its big brother the RZ500. Cant forget the RD400 either

If this bike was ported and piped, with a sticky tire and wheelie bars I would put this bike up against ANY N/A 750cc or smaller 4 stroke bike on the market today, in a drag race. I saw one at a strip a few years back. All I could say was..................My Gaud that thing is loud and fast!!!
