I just bought a lt500r it has a new pwk 39mm race carb with a power jet. Can someone tell me if this is causing it to bog on the low end. If your at idle and gas it it bogs and will quit you first have to get the rpms up a little and then she will scream is this typical for this carb i want to trail ride and need to know whats up i am not familiar with tis carb? Thanks

 

It sounds like you are too rich on the pilot circut. The power jet is jsut used to automatically adjust your jetting when the temp/altitude changes. Do a quick plug check and see how its looking...It should be a tan color.
