Well the more I look at these other two toys the more I want to combine them. I mean the wife never rides the blaster any more and the kx is a little hard on the eyes, besides 2 wheels is to much work.
What they are: 2001 Blaster-92 KX500
The engine mounts are fairly close to the same
The the chain runs on the same side(not sure about the chain size though)
Even the KX pipe looks like it will fit, with a little persuading
Now I know there will be a million little problems, just wondering if anyone has tried anything like this and what to look out for.
Well, do you guys think it will be worth the effort THANKS FOR THE INPUT!

i dont think i would do that because of the small frame that the blaster has. the only thang that would be fun is at the dunes. it would be cool though. if u do it sell that 2001 and get anold one w/ blown mototr and take the extra money u could almost have it.

Well, so you dont think the frame will hold up never even thought of that. It wounld'nt be something I ride all the time, just something to blast up some hills, the occasional drag to shut up my friends who always gave me crap when all I had was the blaster.
Do any of you guys know what the weakest part of a blaster frame is, maybe I could reinforce it or something.
Or is this just an all around bad idea?

I would say its just a bad idea...Plus you would have to extended the swingarm unless you want to do nothing but wheelie and go in a straignt line. Also the shocks would have to be improved.
If you got the time and money to spare then go for it. But don't make the mistake of thinking that it will be easy and cheap...because it won't.
