Default I've finally decided (KX500/250R hybrid)

Here is the current list of parts for a project that I have had in the back of my mind for years. I always wanted to build it, but could never afford it. Well, now I can. I will start buying the parts while I am here in Korea so that when I get home, I will be ready to get started. I already know that the KX will vibrate, but I have a few ideas to calm it down. Besides, if it vibrates so bad that I can't do anything about it, I'll just build a big-bore Tecate 4 motor and drop it in there. This will be built for the dunes and some MX on the side. I hate drag racing, so the swingarm will only be extended a maximum of one inch over the stock 86-87 length. I want this thing to handle, not go in a straight line for a few seconds and be done. So, here's the list. BTW, this list is long.

Thanks for the support, y'all! This one will get built, it will just be a while before I can even begin to do it because I am here in Korea until August of 2006. But, like I said, I will start to buy the parts while I am here so I can jump in with both feet when I get back. When I am done, this is the first place where I will announce it (with pics, of course). As far as seeing it, the best place will be in my backyard when I am home on leave at Little Sahara in Oklahoma. I am as eager to get my hands dirty as y'all are to see the finished product. I just have to keep telling myself that the best things come to those who wait.

The GTX, sadly, is no longer mine. I was a poor college student with no hopes of ever being able to restore it when I had it. Now, I'm a poor Army mechanic. However, I know where it is, and I will get it back someday, no matter what condition it is in or how much it costs. Check my bio on my pics page for more info. If you have any questions about Mopars, or any other musclecars, just PM me and I will gladly answer them.
