YFZ cam mod problems
#13
Then I dont know what to tell you, I would say you did something wrong. If you put it back together stock and it runs fine then its not a problem with the bike. You said you moved the cam 1 tooth clockwise, which is correct.
But if the bike was purchased brand new and no one else has worked on the engine, there is no possible way for the cam mod to have been done already.

I agree with you that it shouldnt be done, but thats the only thing I can think of. I went over the instuction like ten times after it wouldnt start I cant see what I did wrong. If it wouldnt start to me it sounds like the exhaust and intake are opening at the same time ( no compression) otherwise I think It would still start. So I am going to do it again and do a compression test if it wont start.
