RPM steering stem problem
#1
I was doing laps at the MX track when my RPM steering stem broke completely through at the upper weld. It looked like the thickness of the stem wall was not equal all the way around. Calliper measurements confirmed this. I was also surprised how badly the rubber O rings in the bushings had worn grooves into the stem. I thought this chromoly steering stem was supposed to be stronger than stock.
I also had to grind a handle bar mount because that was not machined correctly.
I do like the anti-vibe setup it has.
Anyone else have one break?
