i like it enough, i think i'm going to go with a 480-490 setup, it's just not pulling like i'd hoped. it's a rev monster with the 470 but i think we can get a better delivery out of the 480 setup. i'll probly just send this one out for replate though. seem's to me it's a little out of clearence.

i have the ice cube 542. and it is a rev and torque monster...

i also have ported polished head, fcr 41 carb, and th ewiseco piston that comes with the kit is a 13.5:1 compression, and the dyna tek ignition system that i run is custom tuned to run 1/4 mile drag races.. i run the esr pro pipe

YEAH it is a stroker motor from max rpms.... it is the ice cube cylinder .

any idea on what it's making in the hp & tq range? one more ?, what mm piston is used with that build?

around 60 hp not real sure on the torque but they have it on there web site...

maxrpms.com and the bore is 100mm

finally some people that are somewhat familiar with Sparks stuff on 450r's. I want to buy a sparks x-6 big core for my 450r. My friend who races the gnc runs the same setup with only the hrc cam and i'm very impressed with the setup. Was wondering what the noise level on the exhaust is because I know it is loud. Also, do the quiet and extra quiet tips fit on the big core version because I was told they don't. What do the two tips bring the sound levels to? Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks!

the big core is over 102db, spark's strongly recomended that if you want to run the big core that a quiet core just should'nt be an option, it takes to much away from it and defeats the purpose of running a race exhaust. as far as the end caps go, sparks has changed their end cap design, but if you request the old design wich is a 6 screw instead of the new 3 screw style then you can use the supertrapp 4" difusser disk's to serve as the spark arrestor and it quiets the pipe down aswell. if you want a turn down tip for the 6 screw then call alba or lrd and request a replacement endcap for their pipes, same screw patter, it's the way i run my 04'. we run the new style pipe with a spark's filter and ring along with the hrc cam for the wife's bike. the 06' hrc cam has a really strong bottom end, if i were to run an o6 and up model for myself, i would run a hc stage 2, more of a top end cam on the new crf-trx engines.
