Update: I contacted Sparks and they said the Big Core comes in at 107db? That sounds extremely loud to me but I know my friends big core is pretty dang loud lol. Anyway, they said the cores do fit in a big core but as you said 450r, the extra quiet tip would bring the BC to a measely 100db. He also said that the BC is for top end appliations such as drag racing and flat track. He suggest I run the normal X-6 with a quiet tip which wouldn't hurt gains too much and would come down to around 96db. The good thing is when I'm not around my house (about half the time) I can just pop out the core and run it normal and I think I would jet for the no-core setup so I don't have to rejet everytime and just live with the bogging at home. Any one know the gains on the normal X-6 ceramic coated, and do you like it?

 

Well to me drag quads r pointless but nice quads and yfz is definatly the best 450...

 

why do you think drag quads are pointless

 

cause it gets boring goin in a strait line after a while and there is nowhere to ride them around where i live...lol

 

i ride trails with mine and i have made a quick change swingarm for mine also

 

my build is usable on the trails, dunes and straight line . the guy who is always saying they are pointless is the same guy sitting on the side of the strip wishing he was fast enough to get out there.

Yeah if i wanted to i could build my 450 to be a drag quad but i dont cause im buildin it to be a motocross quad... And o yeah im so cool i got a z400and i think it is "rippin"

ur right yfz, i wish i was big headed enough to just think that because i hav a yfz, therefore i'm fast. doubt it. and bet i could easily keep up with your yfz if not beat, on a track. and if you could see around your ego and read, i'm selling my suzuki to buy a HONDA 450. nice try though.
