I'm running a K&N with Outerwear and 155 main. The tape isn't cheap stuff. It's very very strong. I just don't see spending a little under 100 dollars for the air box thing.

 

I see your point about spending $100 for the Pro Flow adapter kit, but it does have an advantage in that it provides a dust-free seal between the adapter and filter. Just make sure your method provides as good a seal since you're not running a lid on the airbox. In my opinion then, I would have to say a pipe would probably be your next best investment considering you don't want to go into the motor just yet. I can't recommend any one pipe over another though, but my preference would be the White Bros E-Series Pro-Meg. It's adjustable via the discs (from 4 to 20), and you can even buy a quiet core insert if needed.

 

I still stand by teh Big Gun, the mags all say it has the same amount of power at the w.b. but it is quieter!!!

Thats what they had to say about big gun. With jsut the silencer it give 4 hp and with the complete kit header and silencer its 8 hp and only 98 db!!!! Come on people use your nogin!!

When dirt wheels or 4WA mad that project 40EX or somthing, they started out with the complete White Bros pipes and then on part 2 they switched to Big Gun and they said it was jsut as powerful, but was quieter and cheaper!!!! I feel like MAx6x6 trying to get you guys to see it my way
