Front.

In most cases, when landing on a relatively level surface, I like to land slightly tail down first.

The only time I have really noticeably bottomed my rear out hard is landing slightly front first onto a flat landing, the rear comes down and slaps pretty hard.

You can see my jumping form in progress now. I have an MPEG up on my website. It's just slightly less than 1 meg.

My suspension is setup stock, except I have full preload on the fronts, no changes to the rear yet.

Gabe, thanks for the suspension info. Think I"LL turn up my preload and practice more on landing the rear slightly first. I enjoyed your video jump shot!

As for the 99's, This one seemed to be set upright on the nut.Till the main crank bearing cage failed and took the hole motor with it.But that's another story.

Sorry Gabe, I did not give credit where credit was due.<a href=""onmouseover="{window.alert('got...yea!')}"> IMG SRC="http://208.32.63.13/ubb/deadhead.gif</a> Hmmmmmm.... Time to make up some reference sigs. Why don't you take your original post, And keep it in "word". Then just paste it where needed(With date). I wonder how long this question will keep poping up?

By the way, Did you jet that thing as far as it would go? You may be surprised what holes in the air box can do. With carb jeted as far as "it" can practicly go.

My XCT gears 14/39.

PS. I noticed we can't C/P out of the fourms. But we can C/P in TAT's. You'd have to refresh.

I got my new LRD pipe system installed. It Rocks! It is LOUD, but not as loud as a Supertrapp slip-on. I am running it right now with the air box lid on and no changes on the jets. IT is super snappy no dead spots. I love it. I have jets ordered for it from Honda recommended by LRD with their carb adjustments I have to run with no air box lid. I'll let you all know how that works. My friend who was not sold on my 400ex, now is with the LRD on it.
