I just got the March issue of Dirtwheels and saw the XR600 on the cover. Does anybody know how much this would cost to build? I'll probably never get one but it would be cool to set my sights on it. and what kind of plastic did they use?

The XR would surely cost more than the DS-650, but it sure is a nice bike. i also wondered about the plastic.

It's a Laeger 250R style chassis with the "pro trax" suspension setup, with of course an XR 600 slammed in there, and Meier 300EX plastic. They put the quick flip seat/plastic, so all's they gotta do is flip it back to start the bike up. They also used the peg of the XR on the right side. It's in like the Feb. and March issue of dirtwheels in '98. I'll look for the issue later, if you want anymore info, give me an email.
