I know that I posted a message like this in the Yamaha Fourm but i wanted to post it here because I thought that more people here would know about the kit better.

I was wondering if I put in a K&N Power kit (Jet, hi-flow air filter, precharger) with just the stock pipe will i still see an improvement? I am looking into how I can compensate for some 25" tires I want to put on but after I buy the tires and rims, being 15, I won't have the money to get a pipe as well. At Highlifter.com they say it will give a 15% power increase and I was Wondering If that is Really True. Anybody out there with a Kit in Their Wolv. have any comments good or bad they'd like to make about the kit?
Thanks a bunch Guys,

Evan Wolf, 15

do the jet kit, but also you need a good pipe for it sure you can increas the air fuel mixture but if you cant get it out the exhaust faster you are defeating the purpose also a good foam air filter will help the k&n filter is a piece of junk dont buy that, I also heard a simple and cheap mod alternative is to pull out the baffle in the stock pipe

I agree a pipe/silencer, jet kit, and K&N filter makes a lot of more usable horsepower go to my website I have the parts you need colbykostman.tripod.com

I Think I'll Save up for a pipe as well but untill I get the Pipe I may try Taking the Baffle Out. Do you think I will increase the noise very much by taking it out?

If you're trying to keep cost down, why do you want to buy rims? The 25's will fit the stock rims , easy. That might help scrounge up the cash for the pipe.
