I have a 99 banshee, I just replaced the shift shaft, and am ready to get it back together, and notice that the clutch basket rotates circumferencialy. (the gear can be rotated against the directon of the basket) The manual says replace if movement noticed. How big of a deal is this? I would prefer, depending on the severity of the issue, to ride it through this summer before going to a hinson basket and boss. Could I possibly use the shop press on the four rivets or studs that hold the gear to the basket, to tighten them up?

superlites, 35pwks, 16cc domes, and soon to 420LR.
