I have a used 2001 Warrior I got last week and its hard to find neutral. It seems to shift fine when riding but hard to get into neutral when you come to a stop. Sometimes I have to pull up hard on the shifter and it clunks into neutral. Does this mean I have a problem now or will in the future?

It could be a few thing: First, if you clutch is not fully dis-engaging, and you have a slight load on the transmission, it will cause exactly what you describe. Have you recently adjusted or replaced the clutch plates? Make sure the clutch is working properly. Does your bike tend to creep when running while in gear with the clutch pulled in? Second, your warrior has a linkage between the shifter and the shaft. Make sure that the linkage is adjusted properly, and not loose etc. Third, if everything else is o.k., you may have a problem with the shift plate or drum. My bet is on the clutch not being adjusted properly. Good luck.
