engine polishing help please?

hello room im polishing the topend on my 86 trx250r and i was wounder how some of you cure the fairly deep pit's made by beed blasting, what should i use im at a loss for answer's on this, and does everything have to be 100% pit free? im guessing yes well if someone could get back with me id be greatful im sure many people on this fourm would find the info most useful thanx

ok 22 views in less than a day and no replies....whats up somebody has to know something well if anyone can tell me some good new's easier ways..etc me and many people here would be greatful i see by the number's of views that atlest of these people are looking into it....i can tell u right now its waay work than i had thought you basicly have to polish it with sand paper starting with number 320 and steping down to finer as you go

For my top end I used a Dremmel tool with the sanding wheels to sand out all the roughness from the casting. I then wet sanded with 320 or 400 grit, then 800 grit, then 1500 and polished with Mother's. It's a lot of work but looks good when finished.
