no sorry,it start helping the mixture at 1/8 throttle opening so it doesn't affect the pilot jet setting (at idle)...

I am thinking about getting a set of Dial-a-Jets for my heavily modded Banshee.

I am tired of having to re-jet my mains as the outside temperature changes.

I also have to adjust my needles when the temeprature changes. Will a Dial-a-Jet keep me from having to do this also?

Yes.
I have installed them for bikes used in high alt riding. This way depending on the alt they are riding at they can easily increase the fuel the lower they go. They will work perfect for weather changes as well.

They work great, we use them on our p650 kawa for pulling at the atv pulls, we use them with a mixture of nitrous propane. We pull in the improve class in Maine and Canada.

Another product in the same category is Vari-Flow. This system uses air pressure changes in the carb, to adjust the gas level in the bowl. Therefore changing the mixture richer or leaner. Their system, starts out rich, and engine vacuum pulls down leaner, based on a adjustment ****. I'm familair with it in the snowmobile industry, and it has good reviews.

Once your carb is jetted properly, the Dial-AJet does the rest. No more carb disassembly for mods. Just a note-when installing dial a jet, it's a good time to check your float level and set it properly. This adjustment is often overlooked. As an added bonus, after installation of the DAJ, the hose from the bottom of your float bowl does double duty as a float level checker without carb disassembly. The product is simple to install and works on simple principles. Don't be afraid to put one on. I have to admit I was skeptical at first and offered to install one on my buddy's Wolverine just to see how it worked. I did that one and have done mine and another buddy's. These buddys are NOT gearheads and they gave positive reports on the performance and driveability provided by the Dial-A-Jet. See www.thunderproducts.com

I use one on my 440ex. I have things set up now and I can go from around 3500 to 11000 feet with just a turn on a dial. It is great.
