Polaris Phoenix 200 clutch issue
I have a 2010 Polaris Phoenix that recently has had burning brakes smell from the clutch housing and has a HARD time going up long hills. I know my friction pads are probably wasted, but I could not find replacements anywhere. Also can anyone tell me why they burned out so fast, the thing is rated for almost 300 lbs and normally there is 160 on it sometimes 210 nowhere near 300. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Could be just a glazed, stretched belt, but front clutch has to be taken apart to remove it. Then you can see if the 6 rollers and the 3 guide bushings are worn and need replacement. The Phoenix doesn't have a low range and the belt and clutch components will take the brunt if used on steep hills. OPT
