90 sportsman
#1
I have a 2003 90 sportsman that had the float stick and filled up the cylinder. I fixed the float and pulled the plug and turned it over several times. Put the plug back in and the started will not turn the engine over. It acts as if the block is still full. Any tricks or is it going to be a tear down.

Welcome! Hold the throttle wide open(while you have the atv against a post or have the rear end jacked up) and just kick start until it cranks up. May take a while to clear the crank entirely of fuel to where it will run right, plus if you haven't changed the plug might be time to do so. If the electric starter doesn't work just tap on it to see if you can free it up. OPT

Glad you got the gas cleared out. On cold morning starts block the airbox inlet tube with your thumb and should crank right up. Sometimes hard to get the little ones to crank up when cold as the engine vacuum pulling in fuel is too weak. This procedure allows more fuel on start up. Once it's running and warm, it will crank back up easily the rest of the time. OPT
