Default SP500HO - Whine ??

i would suggest having your dealer also check and top-off all your fluids. i've seen dealers uncrate a new ATV, slap the headlight pod on, hook-up a battery and put a 1/2 gal of gas in and say to the customer it's ready to go! pretty sad i know!

my local dealer checks all fluids. has found a few trannys and diffs completely dry! thank God some dealers do a proper pre-delivery inspection!

just a thought...

Default SP500HO - Whine ??

I used to ride with a guy that rode a Polaris, I heard him whine all the time - "wait for me!!!, aw,man, why did I buy a Polaris!!, help me, I'm stuck !!!" Sorry, couldn't resist that, can't believe no one else jumped on that. I don't have a Polaris quad, but I do own 2 Polaris sleds, and I do get a whine from the clutch when letting off the gas and it down shifts off the secondary when slowing down, the clutch systems should be very similiar, so I would think that it is a normal drivetrain noise.
