Default belt adjustment

I replaced the transmission in my 95 trail blazer, and the first time I took it out I shredded the belt.
I was told I needed to adjust the chutch, if so how do I do that. Thanks

Sounds like your clutches are out of alignment. You can get a clutch alignment tool from HSP and use shims to adjust the clutches

Also, make sure the Center to Center distance between the trans. and motor were the clutches mount is 10" +/- 1/8". You also need the alignment bar like BigBad mentioned to get the offset between the 2 clutches correct. If the CTC distance is off, then you will have to adjust by loosening the motor mounts and moving the engine around to get the correct CTC distance and offset.
