Default Will a 700 belt rub?

Question is I have a 2000 SP 500 and remember it has a different PVT cover then the 01 and up models. So will a 700 belt rub on my cover?

Thanks

I had a 700 belt on my 500 scram and didn't have any rubbing problems. I just replaced it with a new stock belt because it is better for the clutches
