yes and when I realize the mistake I've made and my back and butt are achingfrom the straight axle i'll drive it off a cliff .But seriously i have been waiting 3 years for suzuki to c ome out with a 500 with INDEPENDENT rear suspension,,cause I had a king quad,,but I'm still waiting until then I'm on polaris

The new arctic cat 500i has the suzuki Vinson motor in it for 04'. There is your suzuki with IRS! Arctic cat is also comming out with a 650 that uses the Prairie 650 motor now the the 04' Prairie is a 700

The 500 problem was the cable.Someone turned it out a lot.Also the air tube under the seat had a peace of insulation blocking air.Thanks for all the help.

NCScrambler, thanks for the info. I had to go with a 2000 clutch cover. The parts man said the design changed in 2001. The reason for the bigger diameter outlet is because some had EBS (bigger outlet) and some do not. Needless to say, it did fix my problem and I am eternally grateful. As for the brakes, the dealer said to try and file the edges at an angle. Polaris recommended this to them as a fix for squealing brakes. Apparently this will put the center of the pad on the rotor first and eliminate many of the noises. I haven't installed the pads yet. I will let you all know how it works. Thanks...Rob
