Default Rejetting of carb for high altitude riding?

I will be taking my 01 500HO to Colorado this fall during hunting season, I will be operating at 9,000-10,000+ feet. My question is do I need to put in a leaneer jet at the manufacturer suggests? Paper work shows I have a 152.5 jet. Won't be doing anything excessive just riding jeep trails to get to place to hunt. Thanks in advance.
