which tires do you prefer????

i just found these tires made by maxxis called the all trak. and it says ply construction for increased puncture resistance. and they go for $50. my next choice maybe the mud lites. does anyone have the all traks on there quad or no some on that does i want to know how they perform.

I do a little all around riding(no rocks though). I travel through hard packed, loose, and somtimes extremely deep clay type mud. For all around though I'd say the 489 XT's. I've got a pair of those on the front and a pair of Duro Excavators on the back. the XT's are really nice for climbig or descending hills and also for making my way over fallen trees and very large roots and work very well in the mud(had those all the way around for a long time), but the Excavators can't be beat in the mud. They litterally do excavate earth if you got the power to turn them.

now the thing is i dont want to much grip i want to be able to roost the tires easily on dirt. so when i look at those big beefy ***** it turns me off. but bayoublaster how much did you pay for those.

I paid around $45-$50 per tire delivered for the back ones and around $42-$43 for the xt's delivered. I really don't have a problem sliding it or rooster tales on regular dirt, but I do have my share of mods to mine. I'd say most people who have a 400 scram have the same basic mods as mine and then some. There are a lot more mods that I've seen other people do to there's but, I'm ok with what I got. The same holds true for for the TB's. they can hold their own anywhere.

I have the maxxis all tracs on my trailblazer .I love them they have awsome grip and are a good all around tire plus they seem to last forever i've had mine on for over two years and they still have 3/4 tread left on them. Hope this helps you out.
