Default help with clutching

i am running a 40-36 helix and 10-58 weights with a red/yellow main and violet secondary set up in the 2-2 holes. I am looking for the best set up for sand hillclimbing and drag racing. the way it is set up now it seems to pull good on bottom but not on top. and on long hills it seems like it is overshifting and i have to back out of the throttle and hit it again to keep climbing (don't know if that last part made sense) i would like to keep my current helix and weights and change the springs to keep cost down what would you recommend for the type of riding i do main?, secondary?, hole settings?

Try running the stock s55 weights and see if it makes a difference.You might also try the violet secondary in the 1-1 position.

I agree with CED on that, just try a few different combinations and see how you like it. The 1-1 position can make a big difference as can the s-55 weights.

my problem seem to be that its not holding high rpm on long hill climbs or even long top speed runs will these changes help this?

If you want to hold higher RPM's try dropping to a smaller wieght you are running 58 gram try anywhere from 50 to 56 this will hold higher rpms or try putting the stock helix back in this will hold a higher Rpm or changing the secondary settings but 2/2 is a real good setting those are the only way I know of raising the Rpm hope this helps and good luck
