HEELCLICKER CLUTCH QUESTION
#71
I know for a FACT more than 2 or 3 people have had trouble with mid-range and top end ( on the 700 as well )as I've had many more people PM me with similiar problems. The best advice I can give people is the kit works as advertised if you leave the stock plastic nut on.

LOVEMUD if it works that is the way to go, any thing is worth a try. But I also must say that the kit will work even better if you follow the directions. Don't in any way mean for you to take that I'm pointing at you, but have first hand experience with other ppl not following the directions that are supplied with kit. Someone has trouble you ask did you modify the clutch, "HUH WHATS THAT" are you sure you added weight rom the right side of weight "OH YEAH YES" then when I looked at them they were installed backwards. Hard to protect ppl from their selves.

I can't beleive you posted that....
Have you forgotten the 60 plus post's we had on this single topic on ATVNation only about a month ago? (you even pm'ed me your home phone) The whole plastic nut VS. steel nut that comes with the kit thing......
The only thing I didn't try was putting the weights on backward's..... Hmmm.. maybe...

LOVEMUD you are losing me I guess I don't understand what you are saying????? In no way was I saying that it was you if that is what you are saying. I know you experimented with the plastic nut and it worked for you, but I also had tried it, with less than satisfactory results for me. But that didn't mean it wouldn't work for you.
